’82* LHS graduate is found dead; inquire under way
Authorities are investigating the death of a 198(2) Lawrence High School graduate who died Sunday in her home in Osawatomie, an Osawatomie police representative said today.
Sandra Lynn (McClanahan) Snyder, 19, formerly of Lawrence, was found dead in her home Sunday and an autopsy was being conducted today, the police representative said.
No more information, such as whether police suspect foul play, was available, the representative said.
Services for Mrs. Snyder will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Rumsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Sec 17, Lot 93-3) The Rev. L.J. Heiney will officiate.
Mrs. Snyder was born May 10, 1964, in Dallas.
She attended Lawrence public schools and graduated from Lawrence High School in May. She had worked for two years in the dietary department at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She married Dennis L. Snyder Dec. 31, 1982.
She moved from Lawrence to Wichita in January and from Wichita to Osawatomie in August.
Survivors include her husband of the house; her parents, Bill and Shirley McClanahan, rural Lawrence; and her grandmother, Mrs. Nola McClanahan, Paola.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.

Autopsy shows death a result of natural causes
OSAWATOMIE – An autopsy showed that a 198(2) Lawrence High School graduate who was found dead at her home here Sunday died of natural causes, Osawatomie Police Chief John Cragg said today.
Sandra Lynn Snyder, 19, formerly of Lawrence, died of natural causes following an illness, Cragg said.
Cragg explained that the woman had been seeing a physician for the past several weeks. He said there was never a question of foul play being involved in the dealth.
